Fault codes
Please read the following pages before you call for service.
You can correct many of your dishwashers problems yourself, using the checklists on the
following pages.
DW60CR models
Fault signal Possible causes What to do
2 beeps
recurring
The water is not turned on or the hose
is not properly connected.
The water supply to the house is on, but
its pressure is not sufficient.
The water supply hose is crimped or
bent.
The filter for the water supply hose (if
fitted) is clogged.
The drain hose is too low (incorrect
installation).
Turn on the water supply and check that
hose is properly connected.
Check household water pressure.
Check hose and straighten
if needed.
Turn off the water supply and
disconnect the dishwasher from the
power supply. Remove the hose, check
and rinse the filter. If the problem
persists, call your Authorised Service
Centre or Customer Care.
Ensure the drain hose is connected
in accordance with the ‘Installation
instructions’.
3 beeps
recurring
The drain hose is crimped or bent
(incorrect installation).
The drain hose is too high
(incorrect installation).
Check hose and straighten
if needed.
Ensure the drain hose is connected
in accordance with the ‘Installation
instructions’.
4 beeps
recurring
Temperature sensor has detected a
fault.
Turn off the water supply and
disconnect the dishwasher from the
power supply. Call your Authorised
Service Centre or Customer Care.
5 beeps
recurring
Water overflowing - flood sensor has
been activated.
Turn off the water supply and
disconnect the dishwasher from the
power supply. Call your Authorised
Service Centre or Customer Care.
6 beeps
recurring
The drain hose is too low
(incorrect installation).
Ensure the drain hose is connected in
accordance with the ‘Installation
instructions’.
8 beeps
recurring
Heater is malfunctioning. Turn off the water supply and
disconnect the dishwasher from the
power supply. Call your Authorised
Service Centre or Customer Care.
10 beeps
recurring
The door is not properly closed. Check that there is nothing obstructing
the door, then close it firmly.
If the dishwasher still will not work:
Power the dishwasher OFF and wait for a few minutes.
Power the dishwasher ON and retry.
If the dishwasher still does not function, and/or the problem persists, contact your Fisher &
Paykel Dealer or Authorised Service Centre with the fault signal information.
