It is mandatory to connect the resistor of 5,6kΩ
nominal included in the product pack, otherwise the
zone state will remain in permanent alarm condiion.
If you do not wish to connect the resistor and do
not intend to use the zone, please disable the zone
using ELDES coniguraion sotware or any other
coniguraion method supported by ELDES alarm
system.
Regardless if the tamper switch alone is to be used,
the zone must be enabled and the resistor of 5,6kΩ
nominal must be connected across Z1 and COM
connectors.
4. TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The device comes equipped with a temperature sensor allowing
to monitor the temperature of the area surrounding EWKB4
device. When using the device paired with the alarm system, you
may set the MIN and MAX temperature thresholds ranging from
-10 to +55 °C (+14 to +131°F) resuling in a noiicaion delivery to
the listed user and/or PGM output acion (turn ON/OFF; only on
ESIM364 and ESIM384) once exceeded.
