device must be pre-loaded with the intended software release.
DX LIST (F13)
Tap <Fn>, then <DX LIST> to bring up a complete list of countries and
prefixes. Scroll the list using VFO A or the up/down arrow buttons.
(The list is updated periodically in conjunction with software updates.)
To search for a country or prefix, tap the magnifying glass button. This
will bring up the built-in alphanumeric keyboard. Enter text to search
for, then tap ENTER. If there are multiple hits, the magnifying glass
and up/down buttons will remain illuminated, indicating match
navigation mode is in effect. Tap the up/down buttons to search
through matches. Tap the magnifying glass button to exit match
navigation.
BACKUP (F14)
Tap <Fn>, then hold <BACKUP> to use the configuration backup utility.
A USB flash memory device must be plugged into one of the USB-A
jacks.
You can select whether to backup or restore six categories of data,
including General Configuration, Frequency Memories, PF Key and K-
Pod Macros, CW/PSK/FSK messages, DVR messages, and Diagnostic
Logs.
