3. Battery recycling principles
Handling method
Do not throw away the e-bike hub motor, display,
battery pack, or any other e-bike system components.
All components should be properly recycled and
may contain substances that can be harmful to the
environment.
Before recycling the battery pack, please seal the
outer surface of the battery properly with tape.
Do not touch damaged e-bike batteries with bare
hands; the battery fluids can leak and cause irritation
to your skin.
If you have any questions regarding recycling of a
Hydrive battery contact your nearest Hydrive e-bike
dealer.
