INSTALLING THE COOKER HOOD
Ducting Connection
Connect the ducting chosen to:
The diameter of the ducting spigot on the top of
the hood body item 1 is Ø150mm (6”).
When using Ø120mm ducting it will be necessary
to install the ducting adapter item 9 to the the
Dumper 10 (supplied) Ø150mm outlet on the top
of the hood body.
If the room where the cooker hood is to be used
contains a fuel burning appliance such as a central
heating boiler, then its ue must be of the room
sealed or balanced ue type.
If other types of ue or appliances are tted sure
that there is an adequate supply of air to the
room.
The cooker ducting (extraction mode) must never
be connected to central heating ues, radiators or
water heaters etc.
Recirculation
The cooker hood is supplied specied for use in the
recirculation mode, with the charcoal lter tted.
In the recirculation mode contaminated air is passed
through the charcoal lter to be puried and recirculated
into the kitchen through the grille outlets on either side
of the chimney.
Recirculation Connection
• Insert the Connector extensions 14.1 into the side of
the Connector 15.
• Insert the Connector 15 into the Support bracket 7.3
and x it with the screws.
• Fasten the Support bracket 7.3, xing it to the upper
part with the Screws.
• Make sure that the Connector extensions outlet 14.1
is in correspondence with the Chimney openings both
horizontally and vertically.
• Join the Connector 15 to the Hood canopy outlet using
a rigid or exible pipe ø¸150 mm, selection of which
is at the discretion of the installation techni-cian.
• Make sure that the Activated charcoal odour lter
has been tted.
