Problem
Icemaker is not
making any ice.

making enough ice.

Cause
• Ice maker power switch is Off.
• Water supply isnot connected
to refrigerator.
Household water line valve is
not open.
Freezeris not cold enough.
Valveon cold water pipe
is clogged or restricted by
foreign material. If valve is of
the self-piercing type, it may
not have created a sufficiently
sized hole in tube for water to
passthrough.
Checkto see if the water
dispenser is dispensing water.
Water filter is not completely
seated.
Icemaker is producing less
ice than you expect.
Freezeris not cold enough.
Household water line valve is
not completely open.
• Checkto see if water
dispenser is dispensing
slower than normal.
• Ice maker wire signal arm
is being held down by some
item in the freezer.
• Ice cubes are not being used
frequently enough.
Icecubes are hollow or
smaller than normal.
Icehas picked up odor or
flavor from strong food stored
in refrigerator or freezer.
Icenot usedfrequentlyenough.

Turn on power switch.
Connectwater supply (see Installation
Instructions).
Turn on householdwater line valve.

Turn off household water line valve.
Removevalve. Ensurethat valve is not a
self-piercing valve. Cleanvalve. Replace
valve if necessary.
If not, the ice & water filter cartridge
is clogged or restricted, and must be
replaced.
Push firmly until the water filter snaps into
place (you should heartwo clicks).
Icemaker should produceapproximately
4-5 pounds of ice every 24 hours. Fast
Iceshould produce upto 6 pounds of ice
every 24 hours.

Turn on householdwater line valve.
If it is, replacethe ice & water filter
cartridge.
Move item and releasewire signal arm.
Removeany ice cubes frozen together over
wire signal arm.
Removeand shake ice binto separate
cubes.
• The ice & water filter cartridge may be

• Coverfoods tightly. Discard stale ice. Ice
maker will producefresh supply.
• Discard stale ice.
