The Electrolux ESS42200SX is a household-type dishwasher designed for cleaning dishes and tableware in an indoor environment. It offers various programmes to suit different load types and soil levels, including ECO, 160min, 90min, 60min, 30min, and an AUTO programme that senses the degree of soil and quantity of items to adjust temperature, water, energy consumption, and duration automatically. There's also a dedicated programme for cleaning the appliance interior, designed to remove limescale and grease buildup, and a rinse programme to quickly rinse off food remains and prevent odours.
The appliance incorporates a water softener system to remove minerals from the water supply, which negatively affects washing results. This system requires regular refilling of salt, indicated by a salt indicator. A rinse aid dispenser automatically releases rinse aid during the hot rinse phase to improve drying results and prevent streaks.
