Usage Features

The dishwasher offers a user-friendly control panel with an on/off button, program button, option button, delay button, and a display for indicators and programme duration.

Programmes:

  • ECO: Standard programme for normal soil, offering efficient water and energy use.
  • 160min: For normal to heavy, dried-on soil.
  • 90min: For normal, lightly dried-on soil.
  • 60min: For fresh, lightly dried-on soil.
  • 30min: For fresh soil.
  • AUTO: Senses soil degree and load quantity, adjusting temperature, water, energy, and duration automatically.
  • Rinse: Quickly rinses off food remains and prevents odours (no detergent).
  • Machine Care: Cleans the appliance interior, removing limescale and grease buildup (use descaler/cleaning product, no load).

Options:

  • GlassCare: Protects delicate items by reducing wash temperature to 45 °C.
  • ExtraPower: Improves dishwashing results by increasing wash temperature and duration.
  • ExtraHygiene: Provides better cleaning by maintaining a high temperature (65-70 °C) during the last rinsing phase.

Settings:

  • Water Softener Level: Adjustable from level 1 to 10 based on water hardness. Factory setting is level 5.
  • Rinse Aid Level: Adjustable from level 1 (minimum) to 8 (maximum). Factory setting is level 5. Can be set to 0 to deactivate the dispenser and indicator.
  • AirDry Activation/Deactivation: The AirDry function is automatically activated for most programmes, but can be deactivated if desired.

Daily Use:

  • Loading: Items should be arranged to allow water to reach all surfaces. Hollow items face downwards, light items in the upper basket. Cutlery in the cutlery drawer. Spray arms must rotate freely.
  • Detergent: Use dishwasher-specific detergent (tablets, powder, or gel). Dosage depends on soil level and water hardness.
  • Salt: Fill the salt container with 1 kg of coarse salt for dishwashers. The salt indicator will prompt refilling.
  • Rinse Aid: Fill the rinse aid dispenser up to the "FILL" mark. The rinse aid indicator will prompt refilling.
  • Starting a Programme: Select a programme, set options, and press the start button.
  • Delay Start: Programmes can be delayed from 1 to 24 hours.
  • Auto Off: The appliance automatically deactivates after a programme is complete or after 5 minutes of inactivity to save energy.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance and longevity of the dishwasher.

Internal Cleaning:

  • Wipe the interior with a soft damp cloth.
  • Avoid abrasive products, sharp tools, strong chemicals, scourers, or solvents.
  • Wipe the door and rubber gasket weekly.
  • Use a dishwasher cleaning product at least once every two months, following product instructions.
  • Run the "Machine Care" programme for optimal cleaning results.
  • Run long-duration programmes at least twice a month to prevent grease and limescale buildup.

External Cleaning:

  • Clean with a moist soft cloth and neutral detergents.
  • Avoid abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, or solvents.

Filter System Cleaning:

  • The filter system consists of three parts (flat filter A, filter B, filter C).
  • Disassemble by turning filter B counterclockwise, then removing filter C from B, and finally filter A.
  • Wash all filters under running water.
  • Remove any food residues or soil from the sump area.
  • Reassemble the filters, ensuring filter A is correctly positioned under the guides and filter B locks clockwise into place.

Spray Arm Cleaning:

  • Lower Spray Arm: Pull upwards to remove. Wash under running water, using a thin pointed tool (e.g., toothpick) to clear clogged holes. Press downwards to reinstall.
  • Upper Spray Arms: Located under the upper basket. Detach by turning the mounting element clockwise. Wash under running water, using a thin pointed tool to clear clogged holes. Reinstall by inserting the mounting element and turning counterclockwise until it locks.
