Water-stop device
The inlet hose is provided with a water stop
device, which protects against damage
caused by water leaks in the hose which
could develop due to natural ageing of the
hose. This fault is shown by a red sector in
the window «A» . Should this occur, turn
the water tap off and refer to your Service
Centre to replace the hose.

Water drainage
Important!
• The height of drain hose do not have to
exceed 100 cm.
• The drain hose may be extended to a
maximum of 4 metres. An additional
drain hose and joining piece is available
from your local Service Centre.
• The drain hose must not be kinked and
must be fastened to prevent it falls down.
The end of the drain hose can be posi-
tioned in three ways:
1. Directly into a drain pipe.
Attach the hook to drain hose and hang
it in the drain pipe. Make sure that the
drain hose doesn't fall down.The end of
the drain hose must always be ventila-
ted, i.e. the inside diameter of the drain
pipe must be larger than the outside di-
ameter of the drain hose.

Hooked over the edge of a sink us-
ing the plastic hose guide supplied
with the machine. In this case, make
sure the end cannot come unhooked
when the machine is emptying. This
could be done by tying it to the tap with
a piece of string or attaching it to the
wall.
3. You can connect the drain hose to a
siphon. The drain hose must be above
the siphon. Fix the drain hose to the si-
phon with a clamp.
