How to unfold the light shaper and mount the lamp head.

Mise en place.
Attach the light shaper on tripod
or boom arm.
Befestigen Sie den Lichtformer am
Stativ oder auf der Giraffe.
Monter le façonneur sur un
trépied ou sur une girafe.
Open the light shaper by pushing the two central rings
against each other. The lock will snap-in automatically.
Öffnen Sie den Lichtformer indem Sie die beiden
Metallringe im Zentrum zueinander führen. In der
Endstellung werden sie automatisch verriegelt.
Ouvrez le façonneur en rejoignant les deux disques.
Leur verrouillage est automatique.
Mount the ELINCHROM® lamp head and pull the cable
through the spot in the reflection cloth (VELCRO®-
fastener).
Befestigen Sie den ELINCHROM® Lampenkopf und
ziehen Sie das Kabel durch den hierfür vorgesehenen
Schlitz (VELCRO®-Verschluss).
Mettez en place une torche ELINCHROM® et passez le
ou les câbles par l'orifice prévu (fermeture VELCRO®).
EL Recta / EL Strip
Introduce the ends of the two metal rods into the 4
corners of the light shaper.
Gleiten Sie die beiden Spannstabe in die vier Ecken.
Bien placer les deux raidisseurs.
Attaching the diffusing cloth and secure the main
diffusing cloth with the eight VELCRO®-fastening tapes
along the edges.
Das Diffusionstuch wird mittels Klettband befestigt.
Poser le diffuseur.
La bonne tenue du diffuseur est assurée par des
bandes VELCRO® reparties sur les cotes.

Attach Light Shaper

Attach the light shaper on a tripod or boom arm.

Open Light Shaper

Open the light shaper by pushing the two central rings together until they lock.

Mount Lamp Head

Mount the ELINCHROM lamp head and pull the cable through the cloth spot.

Insert Rods for EL Recta;Strip

Introduce the ends of the two metal rods into the four corners of the light shaper.

Secure Diffusing Cloth

Attach the diffusing cloth and secure it with the eight VELCRO fastening tapes.

Folding and Cover Change

Folding the Light Shaper

Remove diffuser, remove rods, hold central rings, and push locking button.

Changing Reflective Cover

Mount shaper horizontally, pull out rods, fold, place upright, and engage nuts into new cloth eyelets.

Diffuser Maintenance

Washing Diffusers

Hand wash gently in cold water, rinse thoroughly, and iron while humid.

Flattening Diffuser Wrinkles

Place shaper above humidifier to remove wrinkles, then let it dry.
