Installation and Assembly

Power Supply Assembly

Power supply is designed for wall mounting; operating elements must be accessible.

Ground Connection

Permanent ground connection via grounding terminal (6, Fig. 1) with min. 1.5 mm² cross section.

Discharging Bar Selection

Eltex discharging bars and ion blowers for AC operation can be connected to ES51 power supplies.

High Voltage Cable Connection

Connect/disconnect high voltage cables only with the power supply switched off.

Maximum Active Bar and Cable Length

Lengths of high voltage cable and active bars are limited due to capacitive load.

Supply Voltage Connection

Connect supply voltage via power supply lead (1, Fig. 1). Recommends machine contact for supply to bars.

5-pin plug for function/fault signals; output voltage active and fault/pollution signals.

Startup Procedure

Ensure correct installation/assembly before switching on supply voltage. Use toggle switch to turn on.
