• Battery maintenance charging interval must be done every 12 months.
When the Failsafe actuator is in use, it should have maintenance charging. There
should be a timer on the charger. The Failsafe actuator must be configured to
charge either once a week or when the voltage drops below 12.5V.
Recommended charging voltage is 13.6V. If the temperature rises above 40°C, it
must be reduced to 13.2V.

During planning, please ensure sufficient space above and around the actuator
for installation, service and manual operation.
There must be a minimum of 150 mm/5.90 in space above and to the sides of
the actuator to accommodate room for installation, operation and service. In
front of the communication interface box there should be at least 200 mm/7.9
in.
