What to do if EMAK Log Splitter fails to split the log?
    • O
      oandersonAug 4, 2025
If your EMAK Log Splitter fails to split the log, it might be due to several reasons. The log may exceed the permitted dimensions; in this case, try cutting a small part or use other means to reduce its size. Another reason might be incorrect positioning of the log; try changing its position in relation to the wedge. Also, the wedge may not be sharp enough; sharpen it and check for burrs or nicks, filing if necessary. If you notice an oil leak, locate it and contact your dealer. Low hydraulic pressure can also be the cause; in this case, contact your dealer.

How to fix EMAK SPL 910 T rod advancing jerkily with vibrations and foamy oil?
    • S
      Sheila StevensonAug 23, 2025
If the rod on your EMAK Log Splitter advances jerkily or with strong vibrations, and foamy oil comes out from the filler cap, it may be due to air in the circuit. Check the oil level and top up if necessary. Ensure that the pump is not sucking in air. Also, verify that the connections are not restricted or the pipes damaged in the system from the tank to the pump. If the problem persists, contact your dealer.
