CSA installation worksheet
Note: The dial-in modem number is the phone number for the line that connects to the
modem. This is the local number that is used by the service provider to dial into your system.
Note: Email will not work without a DNS server.
3. The appropriate blade public LAN settings are auto-discovered.
4. Record the storage processor public LAN IP addresses.

Note: Public IP addresses for your storage processors are required for use with the
Navisphere Service Taskbar for routine array maintenance and upgrades. In addition,
for Celerra systems where Navisphere licenses are in place, Navisphere can be
used to manage storage for external host connectivity, and the Celerra. However, we
recommend users manage Celerra storage using the Provisioning wizard capability
within the CSA or within Unisphere software. The IP addresses must be on the same
subnet as the Control Station.
5. If applicable, con gure service provider/customer noti cation information.
