1.4.2 Beater shaft
Beater EM-40
1. Beater Shaft:
Beat the ice cream /sorbet mixture until
achieving desired consistency.
2. Beater Stopper:
Prevents direct friction between the beater
and the head.
3. Rear blade:
It serves to pull to the front the product that
remains at the bottom of the cylinder.
4. Blades:
Scraps all the ice cream from the frozen
cylinder increasing its volume and pull
the product to the front to be extracted.
5. Beater shaft seal:
Seals the opening between the freezing
cylinder and the beater shaft.
6. Beater shaft seal (inside o ring):
avoid product spillage

Worn blade
How often should you change the blades? It is recommen-
ded to replace the blades once a year, the service could be
necessary before the year or after the year depending on the
frequency and weight of its use
Blade Wear Issues ?: Excessive blade wear can lead to better
seal problems, frequent beater motor protection, longer freeze
time, and uneven product inconsistency.
