6. Account or companion device restrictions
Restrictions are settings that can be enabled to limit access to
certain apps, including the App Store, or to prevent the download
of a certain app. Care App is also categorized as a medical app, so
you will not be able to download it on a companion device if the
account is set for a user aged 13 years old or younger. Disable
restrictions, if any, and try to download the Care App again.
7. Why is the Care App requesting location services to be enabled?
On Android devices, the Care App needs the location services on
the companion device to be turned on and enabled to pair with the
EmbracePlus. This is necessary in order to allow the companion
device to search and connect to devices over Bluetooth Low
Energy technology.
Note that the Care App will never use, store, or share your
location.
