Vaikutukset
AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO -laitetta yhdessä
AIR-FLOW PLUS -käsikappaleen kanssa suosi-
tellaan seuraaviin puhdistustoimenpiteisiin:
• Biolmin poistaminen syvyydeltään jopa 4 mm
olevista ientaskuista
• Supragingivaalisen biolmin ja värjäytymien
poistaminen
Käytön esteet
Supragingivaalisten jauheiden (EMS
CLASSIC, CLASSIC COMFORT ja SOFT)
käyttö on ehdottomasti kielletty subgingivaa-
listen hoitojen aikana (kontakti pehmytkudokseen,
hampaaseen, sementtiin), jotta vältetään
emfyseeman, yliherkkyyden ja verenvuodon
vaara eikä aiheuteta potilaalle epämukavuutta.
Jauhepuhdistinta ei saa missään olosuh-
teissa käyttää kroonista keuhkoputkitulehdusta tai
astmaa sairastaville potilaille.Ilma- ja jauhesuihku
voi aiheuttaa hengitysvaikeuksia.
Altistetut henkilöt voivat olla herkkiä jau-
heelle.Jos allergisia reaktioita havaitaan, lopeta
tuotteen käyttö ja poista se kokonaan.
Älä suuntaa jauhesuihketta kohti paikkoja,
kruunua tai siltaa, sillä tämä voi vahingoittaa
korjattuja kohtia.
Älä käytä AIR-FLOW -menetelmää pahasti
tulehtuneille kudoksille.
Älä koskaan käytä piioksidi- tai alumiiniok-
sidipohjaista hankausjauhetta.Tämä vahingoittaisi
yksikköä.
EMS:n toimittamat jauheet on suunniteltu
erityisesti käytettäväksi laitteen kanssa.Älä käytä
muiden valmistajien jauheita, sillä ne voivat vahin-
goittaa laitetta tai vaikuttaa sen tehokkuuteen.

AIR-FLOW PLUS TREATMENT
Indications
The AIR-FLOW handy 3.0 PERIO, use with the
handpiece AIR-FLOW PLUS, is recommended
for the following cleaning procedures :
• Removal of biolm from pockets up to 4mm
• Removal of biolm supragingival and col-
orations
Contra-indications
In order to avoid any risk of emphysema,
hypersensitivity, bleeding and patient uncomfort,
the use of supragingival powders (EMS CLASSIC,
CLASSIC COMFORT and SOFT) is strictly
forbidden during subgingival treatments (contacts
with soft tissues, dentine, cementum).
Patients su󰀨ering from chronic bronchitis
or asthma must not, under any circumstances, be
treated with an air polishing device. The jet of air
and powder could cause respiratory di󰀩culties.
Predisposed persons may be sensitive to
the powder. If allergic reactions are observed, stop
using the product and completely remove it.
Do not direct the jet of powder toward
llings, or crown and bridgework as this could
damage the restorations.
Do not use the AIR-FLOW method on
severely inamed tissues.
Never use an abrasive powder i.e. silica or
alumina based. This would damage the unit.
The powders provided by EMS are
especially designed for use with the unit. Do not
use powders from other manufacturers as this
could damage the unit or could adversely a󰀨ect
its e󰀩ciency.
