How to troubleshoot no or intermittent ultrasound power in EMS Dental equipment?
- Ttina45Aug 4, 2025
To troubleshoot intermittent ultrasound power in your EMS Dental equipment, start by checking all connections: between the module and unit, the module and handpiece cord, and the handpiece cord and handpiece itself. Ensure the instrument is tightly screwed to the handpiece and not worn or damaged. Also, check for any error messages on the EJ-110 module LED display. Verify the ultrasonic module is correctly powered when the footswitch is activated or when the handpiece is removed from the tray. Make sure the connector between the handpiece and cord is dry. Review your settings and working mode. If problems persist, try replacing the handpiece cord or the handpiece to see if these components are damaged.
