Always remember to keep the following safety precautions
in mind when operating the Epilog Mini Laser Engraver.
● Stay with the laser - do not operate the laser while it is
unattended.
● Keep the area clear - keep the general area around the
laser clear to avoid possible accidents.
● Be prepared with a fire extinguisher - always keep a
properly maintained and inspected fire extinguisher on hand
just in case.
● Use air assist - always use the system’s Air Assist feature
when vector cutting.
● Use caution when vector cutting - many materials have
the potential to burst into flames when cut with a laser.
Always monitor machine when operating.
● Clean the laser - a buildup of cutting and engraving
residue and debris is dangerous and can create a fire hazard
in its own. Make sure to keep area as clean as possible.
