The EPSON scanning software adjusts the image by
“spreading out” the tones in the image between the two
points you selected, producing a more balanced
image.
Contrast
Use the Contrast tool to adjust the contrast between
dark and light tones in the image.
To increase the contrast in the image, move the
Contrast slider to the right.
To decrease the contrast, move the slider to the left.
