• If you set the Standby Mode setting to Communication On in the projector's ECO menu, make sure
the network device is turned on. After turning on the network device, turn on the projector.
Note: The user ID and password are case sensitive.

Solutions When Network Alert E-Mails are Not Received
If you do not receive an e-mail alerting you to problems with a projector over the network, try the
following solutions:
• Make sure the projector is turned on and connected to the network correctly. (If an error shut down the
projector, it cannot send an e-mail.)
• Make sure you set up the projector e-mail alert settings correctly on the projector's Network
Notifications menu or in the network software.
• Set the Standby Mode setting to Communication On so the network software can monitor the
projector in standby mode. Change the Port setting according to your network environment.

Solutions When You Cannot Connect Using Screen Mirroring
If you are unable to connect to the projector using Screen Mirroring (EX9240), try the following solutions:
• Make sure On is selected as the Screen Mirroring setting in the projector's Network menu. Try
turning the setting off and then on again, if necessary.
• Make sure the Display Name in the screen mirroring settings does not include "-" or it may not display
correctly on your mobile device.
• Make sure the Operation Mode and Channel settings in the Network menu are correct for your
mobile environment and try connecting again.
• Make sure no other mobile device is connected to the projector using No Interruptions settings in the
Extended menu Meeting Mode settings.
