Replacing Ink Cartridges

Be careful not to trap your hand or

when opening or closing the scanner unit. Otherwise you may be injured.

Important:
When replacing ink cartridges, replace them at the correct replacement position. If you replace these in the wrong
position, a recognition error occurs. If an error occurs, reinsert these in the correct replacement position.
Note:
You can continue printing even aer the printer indicates that the ink is low. However, prepare new ink cartridges as soon as
possible.
1. If the CD/DVD tray has been inserted, remove the tray.
2. Do one of the following.
❏ When prompted to replace ink cartridges:
Check which ink cartridge needs to be replaced, select Next, and then select Yes, replace now.
❏ When replacing ink cartridges before they are expended:
Select Maintenance > Ink Cartridge Replacement from the home screen.
To select an item, move the focus to the item using the
u
d
l
r
buttons, and then press the OK button.
