Cleaning the Paper Path for Ink Smears
When the printouts are smeared or scued, clean the roller inside.

Do not use tissue paper to clean the inside of the printer. e print head nozzles may be clogged with lint.
1. Load A4-size plain paper in the paper cassette.
2.
Select Maintenance on the home screen.
To select an item, move the focus to the item using the
u d l r buttons, and then press the OK button.
3.
Select Paper Guide Cleaning.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to clean the paper path.
5. Repeat the above procedure until the paper is not smeared with ink.
If the paper still gets dirty with ink even
aer
cleaning several times, go to next step.
6. Turn o the printer by pressing the
P button.
7. Unplug the power cord, and then disconnect the power cord.
8.
Raise the control panel as far as it will go so that it is horizontal.
