5.3.2 The display is totally empty or the contrast is low.
Give the board power and start it up without a display mounted.

The front side of the board is shown in fig. 5.1
Measure the voltages at V608 (class A) and V611 (class A). The GH 688 uses dis-
plays of two different brands, Philips and Seiko. Fig. 5.2 and 5.3 shows typical volt-
age values for both brands.
