10.1 Find fault.
Insert a SIM card and a fully charged battery into the phone and start it up.
Set the correct time.
Remove the battery and reinsert it after a minute.
• If the time says 00:00 proceed to section 10.2.
Compare to the correct time.
• If the clock is speeding or is halted proceed to section 10.3
The component side of the circuit board is shown in fig. 10.1.

Open the phone and check if the backup capacitor C720 (class A, fig. 1.2) is cor-
rectly soldered.
