9.1 Safety Precautions for Lithium Ion Rechargeable Batteries
The AM3 is powered from an internal Lithium-Ion Polymer battery.
The following safety precautions are valid for Lithium-Ion batteries:
- Do not waste the battery.
- Do not short-circuit the battery.
- Protect the battery against excessive heat!
- Protect the battery against direct sun light!
- Protect the battery against re!
- Do not dismantle or manipulate the battery.
- Do not replace the battery.
- The uid of the battery is toxic and ammable - leaky batteries or batteries with
dents must not be used any longer!
- Do not come in contact with the uid in the battery. If the uid comes in contact
with your skin, immediately rinse the affected part with water and contact a
doctor!
- To charge the AM3, use only the charger specied by ERT and observe the
instructions in the manual!
