C INSTALLING THE FLUE

If your ue system is less than 4m long (as shown in diagrams below), then a simple aluminium exible ue is
required. If you wish to install a longer ue run, see either secon C2 on page 17 or C6 on page 24.
Horizontally Terminated: Ulizes the Escea Horizontal Power Flue enclosure kit.
The horizontal oset of the terminal can be any amount up to the total ue length listed below. Please
consult with Escea’s technical sta if your intended ue conguraon steps outside of the bounds of the ue
conguraons shown below.
NOTE: The fan in this powerue produces 52 DB of noise, think carefully around the locaon of the terminal,
if the terminal is in close proximity to the re then the fan noise will be more prevalent. If the only opon is to
install the terminal close to the re then introducing sound deadening material around the back of the terminal
or stretching out the exiue and adding more S-bends is recommended to reduce sound transfer through to
the re.
