Ring melody
The telephone has 8 ringtones.
Default: ringtone n°2.
 Select Ring melody and press OK.
 Press
▲ or ▼ keys to scroll between the melody options.
 Select the desired melody and press OK to confirm.
Flash time
The phone sends a line disengagement impulse to the telephone switch when
the R key is pressed to put the call on hold. The Flah time indicates the
impulse duration.
Default: 100 ms.
 Select Set flash time and press OK.
 Press
▲ or ▼ keys to select the desired value (80, 100, 120, 180,
250, 300, 600, 1000 ms) and press OK to confirm.
Call barring
It is possible to block some kind of outgoing calls (value added services, sexy
lines, etc.) by setting up the barring filter. When the barring filter is enabled,
the outgoing calls starting with a certain sequence of digits are aborted.
ST 501 supports up to 5 different barring sequences of digits.
 Select Call barring and press OK.
Enter or modify a barring sequence
 Select Barring number and press OK.
 Enter the password (default: 0000) and press OK.
