8. Plug in the vent cut-off valve power cable from the communication cable into the valve.
Next, remove the barbed fitting from the bake bulkhead and connect the jumper line from
the vent cut-off valve to the bake vent on the front of the concentrator. See image below.
9. Set-up the OI4660 experimental parameters. Some good starting parameters are:
Sparge Mount Temp: 40°C
Purge Time: 11min.
Water Management Temps:
i. Purge: 110-120°C
ii. Desorb: 0°C
iii. Bake: 240°C
Desorb Preheat Temp: 185°C
Desorb Temp: 190°C
Desorb Time: 0.5min
Transfer Line Temp: 110°C
Valve Temps: 110°C
Bake Time: 6min.
Bake Temp: 210°C
Rinse Drain Time: 25sec.
Check/Uncheck:
i. Desorb Preheat box—check
ii. Drain at Desorb—uncheck
iii. Purge at Bake—check
Note: Always use a #10 trap.
