Connection Description
Entry
The amplifier is equipped with two cinch stereo entries (6;7 and 11;12). Connect the pre-amplifier signal of
your car radio or DVD player etc. to these connectors.
The sensitivity controllers (9 and 14) are used to adjust the entry signal to the amplifier.
Filter
The amplifier is equipped with HP and LP filters. With these filters it is possible to correspondingly adjust the
signal processing in the amplifier (18; 24 and 21;27). When the filters are shut off, the entry signal is linear
amplified (17;23 and 20;26)
Subsonic Filter
A subsonic filter acts like a crossover but at very low frequencies. It removes sound that is so low the speaker can
not reproduce it. You see the cone moving but hear no sound. This can be very hard on your woofer especially at
high power. If you are using a ported subwoofer enclosure at high power you should use a Subsonic Filter to limit
cone movement at very low frequencies.
Loudspeakers
The loudspeakers of the system are attached to the clamps plus and minus of the performance exits (33;34)
Hi level input with auto sense on
The amplifier is equipped with two cinch stereo entries (6;7 and 11;12). You can connect the speaker outputs
of your radio as well.
In this case you have to connect the speaker cables from the radio to cinch plugs as shown in the picture
below.
Make sure that you always connect the minus speaker wire to the shield side of the cinch plug and the plus
speaker wire to the center contact.
Turn the level switches (8;13) to the “High” position.
The amplifier is also equipped with “auto sense on.
Wired in high in mode no additional remote cable (1) is needed. The amplifier turns on automatic when it
sense a speaker output signal.
This feature allows you to wire the amplifier very easy to factory head units.
Attention: Take the polarity of the loudspeakers into consideration. Refer to the polarity
specifications on the terminal.
Attention: Make sure that the amplifier is always turn off while using the level input switch.
Otherwise a damage of the head unit can occur!
