Remove the bicycle rack when it is not
required.
• Never drive with the bicycle rack folded.
WARNING!
Personal injury or property dama-
ge possible due to an incompletely
mounted bicycle rack.
Driving with the bicycle rack folded can
lead to accidents.
The moving parts of the bicycle rack do not
represent a source of danger when fully
mounted.
Before embarking on any journey, check
the correct and rm seating of the strap
around the bicycles and frame holder of
the rack.

the correct and rm seating of both straps
around the front wheel and the strap
around the rear wheel of the bicycle.
• If necessary tighten the straps again.
Before embarking on any journey, check to
make sure the straps used are undamaged
and not worn.
Damaged or worn straps must be replaced
with undamaged ones before you embark
on your journey. Only straps authorised by
EAL GmbH for the purpose may be used.
WARNING!
Personal injury or property damage
due to loss of the bicycles.
Driving without safety straps can lead to
accidents.
Only mount parts that do not protrude
beyond the edge of the vehicle.
WARNING!
Personal injury or property damages
caused by protruding parts.
Parts protruding beyond the edge of the
vehicle or rack may cause personal injury or
property damage during the journey.
• Do not use tarpaulins.
WARNING!
Personal injury or property damage
due to tarpaulins.
Tarpaulins increase the air resistance.
They may come undone and ap which
may result in serious accidents. Do not use
tarpaulins.
After a few kilometres, check the secure
seating of the rack.
If it is seated loosely, reinstall. The quick
closure may need to be adjusted. For this,
see the relevant chapter of the bicycle rack
operating instructions. If there is no rm
hold, the rack may not be used.
WARNING!

due to loss of the bicycle rack.
The rack will only be seated properly on
the coupling after it has been secured and
driven for a few kilometres.
• Do not use the bicycle rack o the road.
Only suitable for use on a car trailer
coupling.
Drive over speed bumps slowly: Maximum
speed 10 km/h.
WARNING!
Personal injury or property damage
due to breakage of the bicycle rack.
Driving with a mounted bicycle rack o the
road may cause damages or breakage of the
rack.
Switch o the electric tailgate and operate
it manually.
Fold down the bicycle rack before opening
the tailgate.
CAUTION!
Property damage due to opening
tailgate.
The tailgate could hit the bicycle rack and
be damaged.
• Use an exhaust deector if necessary.
CAUTION!
Property damage caused by hot
exhaust gases.
Damages may be caused to the rack or
bicycles if the exhaust outlet is close by.
The general operating permit must be
carried in the vehicle when the rack is
mounted.
