Never mount oil and water extractor on or near the air com pres sor.
Duringcompression,airtemperatureisgreatlyincreased.Astheaircoolsdowntoroomtemperature,moisturecondensesintheairline,on
itswaytothespraygun.Therefore,alwaysmounttheoilandwaterextractoratapointintheairsupplysystemwherethecompressedair
temperatureislowest.
Drain air lines properly.
Pitchallairlinesbacktowardsthecompressorsothatcondensedmoisturewillflowbackintotheairreceiverwhereitcanbedrainedoff.
Eachlowpointinanairlineactsasawatertrap.Suchpointsshouldbefittedwithaneasilyaccessibledrain.Seediagramabove.
Ensureanaccessibleemergencyshutoffvalvehasbeeninstalledintheairsupplylineandmakeothersawareofitslocation.
