GENERAL DIRECTIONS
1. Remove the
packaging
and
make
sure
that the
appliance
is intact. lf in
doubt, do not use
it
and contact our
Technical Assistance
Centre.
2. Packaging materials
(plastic
bags,
polystyrene,
staples etc.) must
be
kept
out
of the reach of children as they could be
hazardous.
3. Caution:
This
appliance can be used by chibren aged
from
8
years
and above
and
persons
with reduced
physical,
sensory
or mental
capabilities or
lack
of experience afid
knowledge if they have
been
given
supervision
or
instruction
conceming use of the appliance
in
a safe way
and
understand
the
hazards involved.Children
shall
not
play
with the
appliance. Cleaning
and user
maintenance shall not
be
made
by
chilflren unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
4. Before
connecting the appliance, check that the
appliance
rating
corresponds to the mains rating.
5.
lf
the
power
cord
is
damaged,
it
must be replaced by the manufacturer
or
its
service agent or a similar
qualified person
in order to
avoid a
hazard.
6.
This
appliance must only be used for the
purpose
for which it
has been
manufactured,
i.e. as
a
tower fan. The manufacturer is
not responsible
for
any damage caused
by
improper
or
incorrect
use.
7. Before cleaning
or carrying out maintenance on the
appliance,
disconnect it from the
electrical
mains
by
pulling
out the main
plug.

lf the
appliance is faulty or operating inconectly,
switch it off without
tampering with
it. lf the above is disregarded, the
safety of the appliance
may
be compromised,

Tum
off the appliance
and
remove
the
plug
from the
electrical outlet
when the appliance is not in
use.

awareness of some

with
wet or damp hands
or feet

the appliance exposed to
