How to fix EXPERT GRILL 720-0968CH Grill that will not light immediately?
    • L
      lcollierAug 3, 2025
If your EXPERT GRILL Grill won't light immediately, ensure you have a spark while trying to light the burner. If there's no spark, check if the battery is correctly installed and the wire is connected to the electrode assembly. Clean the wire(s) and/or electrode with rubbing alcohol and a clean swab, then wipe with a clean cloth. Check if the other burners operate; if so, inspect the gas orifice on the malfunctioning burner for any obstruction.

What to do if rotisserie burner will not light on my EXPERT GRILL 720-0968CH Grill?
    • M
      Michael CastroAug 7, 2025
If the rotisserie burner on your EXPERT GRILL Grill won't light when the igniter button is pushed, check if debris is blocking the electrode. Also, check for a spark jumping from the electrode to the burner. If there's no spark, inspect the battery inside the igniter box by turning it counter-clockwise to open. If the infrared back burner doesn't light when attempting to light with a match, ensure the gas is on.

What to do if my EXPERT GRILL 720-0968CH only heats to 200-300°F?
    • J
      jonesjulieAug 11, 2025
If your EXPERT GRILL Grill only heats to 200-300°F, check if the fuel hose is bent or kinked. Ensure the grill area is free of dust and the burner and orifices are clean. Also, inspect for spiders and insects. The regulator might have a safety device restricting gas flow, even without a leak. To reset it, turn off all burners, close the LP tank valve, disconnect the regulator, wait one minute, reconnect, slowly open the LP tank valve fully, and then light all burners and observe the temperature.

    • R
      Robert MartinezAug 16, 2025
If your EXPERT GRILL Grill is taking a long time to preheat, it could be due to cold weather or wind. Normal preheating to 500-600°F takes about 10-15 minutes. Note that using volcanic rock or briquettes can increase the preheat time and maximum temperature.

What to do if the rotisserie motor on my EXPERT GRILL 720-0968CH Grill won't turn?
    • K
      Karen CantrellAug 20, 2025
If the rotisserie motor of your EXPERT GRILL Grill won't turn, first ensure the motor is connected to a properly grounded power supply and that the on/off switch is in the on position. Then, make sure the spit is fully inserted into the rotisserie motor. Also, verify that the load does not exceed the 40 pounds operational capacity and that there is no encumbrance or drag.

Why does the regulator on my EXPERT GRILL 720-0968CH Grill make noise?
    • O
      Olivia LawsonAug 25, 2025
If the regulator on your EXPERT GRILL Grill is making noise, the vent hose may be plugged or the regulator itself may be faulty. Ensure the vent hole on the regulator is not obstructed. Clear the hole, then close the gas control valves, wait ten minutes, and restart. Check the flames for proper performance. If the flames are still incorrect, replace the regulator.

Why are the burner flames not light blue on my EXPERT GRILL 720-0968CH Grill?
    • A
      amandamahoneyAug 28, 2025
If the burner flames on your EXPERT GRILL Grill are not light blue, it may be due to too much or not enough air for the flame. Elevation is a principal cause, but cold weather can also affect the mixture. Burner adjustment may be required, or the grill may be in a windy location.
