Clean the appliance exclusively with food-grade detergents.
Never use corrosive and flammable cleaning products or
products that may contain and/or release toxic substances.
Never immerse the appliance body in water or other liquids.
Do not clean the appliance with jets of water in order not
to damage the components, in particular the electrical and
electronic components.
• If the appliance is not to be used for a long period of time, thoroughly clean and dry
all its parts (internal and external).
• Disconnect the power cable and make sure that the ambient conditions are suitable
for long-term storage of the appliance.
• The pot and the blade can be washed in a dishwasher.
MAINTENANCE
• To get the best performance out of the appliance, the blades must be well sharpened.
If they no longer cut, contact the appliance manufacturer or a knife-sharpening service
to have them sharpened.
• The appliance does not require lubrication.
• Should the appliance start making an unusual noise after a certain period of time due
to belt slackening, tighten the belt tensioner located to the side of the motor underneath
the base.
• Only for model “C3” (ref. Figure 1 on page 28):
- Loosen the nut (13) and the screw (10) and adjust the belt tensioner (12).
- When done, tighten the nut (13) and the screw (10).
• Only for models “C5” and “C8” (ref. Figures 2 and 3 on pages 29 and 30):
- Loosen the screw (13) and interact with the two nuts (15) to tension the belt.
- When done, tighten the screw (13).
