DISHWASHER QUICK START GUIDE: 3LVF-421 / 3LVF-421X

Dear Customer,

This Quick Start Guide

is enclosed with detailed

dishwasher Operating

Instructions. Before using

the appliance carefully read

the Operating Instructions,

especially guidelines for safe

use.

Before plugging your

dishwasher into the mains

power, remove the safety

packaging. Do not start the

dishwasher before it is properly

set up.

Turn on the appliance1

Close the appliance door, press the on/o󰘯

button to turn on the appliance.

Dispense detergent2

Press the latch to open the detergent dispenser.

Add detergent to the dispenser.

Check the special salt

level

Add special salt to the dispenser when the

corresponding indicator on the control panel

comes on.

Load the dishes

Remove food leftovers from the dishes

Place the dishes in the baskets according to loading

guidelines.

It is recommended to load the lower basket 󰘰rst, then

the upper basket.

Select the wash programme

Select the desired programme and its indicator will

light up. Press Start/Pause, and the dishwasher

programme will resume

Start your dishwasher

Close the dishwasher door.

The dishwasher will start a wash programme.

Turn o󰘯 the appliance

Press Start / Pause to turn o󰘯 the appliance

Remove dishes from the

appliance

When the dishwasher is o󰘯, open the door and wait

about 15 minutes before removing the dishes. This

will also facilitate the drying process. Hot dishes are

more susceptible to cracking.

Function Description

The dishwasher is designed to efficiently clean various types of dishes, from lightly soiled crockery and glasses to heavily soiled pots and pans. It offers a range of wash programmes tailored to different soil levels and item types, ensuring optimal cleaning performance while managing energy and water consumption. Key components include spray arms for water distribution, a detergent dispenser, a salt container for water softening, and a filter assembly to trap food particles. The appliance is equipped with baskets for organized loading of dishes and cutlery, including a dedicated cutlery basket, upper basket, and lower basket, along with specific shelves for mugs and cups.

Usage Features

To begin using the dishwasher, first ensure it is properly set up and connected to the mains power, with all safety packaging removed.

Turning on the appliance: Close the dishwasher door and press the on/off button.
Dispensing detergent: Press the latch to open the detergent dispenser and add the appropriate amount of detergent.
Checking special salt level: Monitor the control panel for the corresponding indicator. If it illuminates, add special salt to the dispenser to ensure effective water softening, which is crucial for preventing limescale and improving wash results.
Loading dishes: Before loading, remove any large food leftovers from the dishes. Place dishes in the baskets according to the loading guidelines. Turning off the appliance: To stop the programme, press the Start/Pause button.
Removing dishes: Once the dishwasher is off, open the door and wait approximately 15 minutes before removing the dishes. This waiting period allows for better drying and reduces the risk of cracking hot dishes, which are more susceptible to damage.

The dishwasher offers several wash programmes:

Normal (55°C): Suitable for normally soiled loads, including pots, plates, glasses, and lightly soiled pans. It includes a pre-wash, main wash, rinses, and a dry cycle.
Intensive (60°C): Designed for heavily soiled items such as pots and pans with dried-on food. This programme features a pre-wash at 50°C, a main wash at 60°C, multiple rinses, and a high-temperature dry cycle at 70°C.
Glass (40°C): Ideal for lightly soiled crockery and glass. This gentle programme includes a pre-wash, a main wash at 40°C, rinses, and a dry cycle at 60°C.
ECO (45°C): This is the standard programme, suitable for normally soiled tableware like pots, plates, glasses, and lightly soiled pans. It is recognized as the most effective programme in terms of total energy and water consumption for this type of load. It includes a pre-wash, a main wash at 45°C, rinses, and a dry cycle at 62°C.
90' (65°C): A quick wash option for normally soiled loads that require a faster cleaning cycle. It includes a main wash at 65°C, rinses, and a dry cycle at 65°C.
Soak: A pre-wash cycle designed to rinse dishes that will be washed later in the day, preventing food from drying onto them.
