• Select the required slice thickness, by
turning thickness adjusting knob
clockwise for thicker slices and
counter-clockwise for thinner slices.
Caution: Always use food carriage and
food pusher.
• Place food to be sliced on food
carriage and press it against thickness
guide. Then, pull food carriage toward
you with your left hand.
• In order to start the appliance, press,
with your right hand, safety button and
On/Off button and keep them pressed
simultaneously.
5. OPERATION
• When blade is rotating, keep your
thumb protected behind safety thumb
guard. Slice food carriage forwards,
towards the blade. Move tray, back and
forth, steadily. Keep food gently
pressed against guide, for even slices.
• When slicing is over, unplug unit. For
safety and blade protection, when
storing, turn thickness adjusting knob
in order to align thickness guide and
the blade.
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance.
Never submerge motor in water. Motor
case can be cleaned with a soft cloth.
Motor never needs oiling
All parts can be remove for cleaning.
Wash all the different parts (except motor
case), with a soft cloth or sponge and a
mild soap or a spray. Rinse and dry.
Never use steel wool or scouring powder
on any parts of the slicer.
Never wash any part of the slicer in the
dishwasher
For easier cleaning, remove all parts as
shown. Wash, dry and replaced them,
repeating the operation backwards.
Food carriage: Slide food pusher off and
lift food carriage from platform.
Stainless Blade: Turn blade lock counter
clockwise and lift carefully. To replace it,
align both tabs of blade lock with slots of
