5. PROGRAMMES FOR DOSAGE
5.1. Description of the dosage cycle
The dryer programmes are based on 3 different cycle types.
• Drying cycle
• Cooling cycle
• Dosing cycle
During the drying cycle, the laundry is dried using one or a combination of several cycles. Drying is
possible in stages to ensure improved care of the laundry.
During the cooling cycle the temperature of the laundry is lowered to prevent personal injury on removing
the laundry from the dryer. This assists the dosing cycle, as the fragrance should be applied at
temperatures below 60 ºC to prevent it from evaporating.
The fragrance is applied during the dosing cycle and the laundry is shaken so that the fragrance is mixed.
This helps to achieve a perfect scent on removing the laundry from the drum.
The dosing phase starts when the programmed temperature is reached.
There is a 30-second pause and then the dosing pump starts to pulse out the fragrance.
After the dosing, the laundry shake-up time is discounted.
