• Periodically, especially after cooking
particularly fat food, you may perform a
self-cleaning procedure. It consists in turning
the oven on for ca. 1 hour at a maximum
temperature (250ºC) with the function
on. The oven door should be closed. During
the self-cleaning cycle the dirt on catalytic
shields will oxidize and evaporate. When
the cycle ends clean the oven with a wet
sponge.
•
In time catalytic shields lose their self-
cleaning qualities and their surface starts
to shine; they should be replaced with new
ones.
•
To make oven cleaning easier and replace
side catalytic shields fi rst remove both sets of
guides.
•
Disassembly of the side racks is shown on
the 3.5.1/3.5.2 drawings.
•
Clean the rack guides with a sponge or
brush and dish washing liquid. After cleaning
follow all the steps as in removing the guides
in the reverse order.
3.6 The AquaSliding Function system makes it
easier to clean the oven with steam. It takes
35 minutes and is done as follows:
• Start with a lukewarm oven.
• Remove all accessories and side guides
from the model.
• Spray 200 ml of water onto the inside
walls of the oven.
Using too much
water could cause overfl ow.
• Depending on the model,
a) AquaSliding wait until the oven
indicates the end of the cleaning cycle.
b) traditional t 150ºC for 10 minutes.
After this time has elapsed, reduce the
temperature to minimum (35ºC - 75ºC
according to the model) and maintain
for 25 minutes. Failure to follow these
instructions may cause condensation
on the front.
• Switch the oven off.
• Carefully open the oven door, avoiding
contact with the steam.
• At the end of the cycle, remove the water
from inside and wipe away any remaining
dirt with a dishcloth. This cycle is used to
assist cleaning but loses its effectiveness if
the recommended times are not followed.
* Depending on the model, it can assist the
Warning function.
3.7 How to remove the door.

(3.7.2).

Troubleshooting
You can solve the following problems yourself:
4.1 The oven does not switch on. Check it is
plugged in and that the time selector dial is
not turned to 0.
4.2 Smoke comes out during cooking. Tur n
the temperature down and/or clean the oven
(point 3.3).
4.3 The oven makes a noise after cooking.
This is normal, as the fan keeps running until
the temperature inside and outside the oven
is reduced.
Digital display models have a diagnosis sys-tem
which detects any problems and warns the user.
You can see this on the display:
4.4 Oven not working. . is fl ashing. Turn the
function selector dial to 0 and set the time
(point 2.3).

Close the oven door gently until you hear
the catch engage (3.7.3), once you reach
the position of the catch, take hold of the
door with both hands and continue to push
it closed while pulling upwards at the same
time to lift the hinges from their slots.
To install the door after cleaning align the
hinges with their slots until they hook into
place (3.7.4). Open the door fully (3.7.5)
and push the bolts down completely to their
original position (3.7.6).
3.8 Replacing the bulb.
Disconnect the oven from the mains power
supply. If necessary, let the oven cool down.
Unscrew the lamp cover by turning it to the

type.
Replace the lamp cover and Re-connect the
oven to the mains power supply.
