ALL MAINTENANCE WORK IS CARRIED OUT WHEN THE ENGINE IS STOPPED. ALWAYS
DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG LEAD.
1- Check for discoloration and remove the carbon Standart electrode color : Tan color.
2- Check the spark plug type and gap. Standard spark : BR5ES (NGK).
-Spark plug gap : 0,7 - 0,8 mm.
3- Install the spark plug. Spark plug Torque : 28Nm (2,8 Kgm, 20 lb.pi)
You should periodically remove the Carbon deposits.
1- Remove the muf er protector.
3- Remove the Carbon deposits using a wire brush and by trapping the muf er body lightly.
4- Reinstall the muf er.
1- Remove the air lter cover and element.
2- Wash the element in solvent and dry.
3- Oil teh element and squeeze out excess oil. The element should be wet but not dripping.
recommanded oil : Foam-air- lter oil or SAE 20 motor oil.
4- Insert the element into the air lter .
N.B : Be sure the element sealing surface matches the air lter so there is no air leak.
The engine and mu er will be very hot after the engine has been run. Avoid
touching the engine and muf er while are still hot with any part of your body or
clothing during inspection or repair.
