GENERAL MAINTENANCE
ALL MAINTENANCE WORK IS CARRIED OUT WHEN THE ENGINE IS STOPPED. ALWAYS
DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG LEAD.
SPARK PLUG INSPECTION
1- Check for discoloration and remove the carbon Standart electrode color : Tan color.
2- Check the spark plug type and gap. Standard spark : BR5ES (NGK).
-Spark plug gap : 0,7 - 0,8 mm.
3- Install the spark plug. Spark plug Torque : 28Nm (2,8 Kgm, 20 lb.pi)
SILENCER
You should periodically remove the Carbon deposits.
1- Remove the muf er protector.
2- Remove the muf er
3- Remove the Carbon deposits using a wire brush and by trapping the muf er body lightly.
4- Reinstall the muf er.
AIR FILTER
1- Remove the air  lter cover and element.
2- Wash the element in solvent and dry.
3- Oil teh element and squeeze out excess oil. The element should be wet but not dripping.
recommanded oil : Foam-air- lter oil or SAE 20 motor oil.
4- Insert the element into the air  lter .
N.B : Be sure the element sealing surface matches the air  lter so there is no air leak.
The engine and mu er will be very hot after the engine has been run. Avoid
touching the engine and muf er while are still hot with any part of your body or
clothing during inspection or repair.
