Usage Features:

The EVA light offers an intuitive user interface with a joystick, sensor, and sterilizable handles.

  • Switching On/Off:
    • Joystick Version: Push right or left and release (1 beep).
    • Sensor Version: Bring hand towards the sensor up to 2 cm and move hand down (1 beep).
    • The device performs a self-diagnosis upon switching on, indicated by blinking blue, green, and red lights. It memorizes the last light intensity setting and color temperature (for Tunable White version).
  • Adjusting Light Intensity:
    • Joystick Version: Push left and keep pushed to increase intensity, push right and keep pushed to decrease intensity. Release when desired intensity is reached.
    • Sensor Version: Bring hand towards the sensor up to 2 cm and keep this distance to adjust intensity. Intensity changes continuously, decreasing until minimum and increasing until maximum.
    • Indicator light changes according to the illuminance level.
  • Changing Color Temperature (Tunable White Version):
    • Perform a double click on the joystick or sensor. Repeat until the desired color temperature is shown on the indicator light (2 beeps indicate Tk change).
    • Indicator strip colors: Green for 5000 K (Sunlight), Yellow for 4000 K (Tunable White), White for 5000 K (Tunable White), Blue for 5700 K (Tunable White).
  • Composave Setting (Tunable White Version):
    • This setting allows working with restorative material without polymerization.
    • Joystick Version: Press and release (option 1) or single click (option 2).
    • Sensor Version: Single click.
    • A wigwag beep is heard, and the indicator strip changes to orange. Exit by a single click from the Compo-Save Setting.
  • Minimum Intensity Setting (Solar Version):
    • Joystick Version: Press and release.
    • Sensor Version: Single click.
  • Auto-On Setting: When enabled, the lamps turn on automatically without a specific command when power is supplied.
  • Switching On/Off Theia (Secondary Light):
    • The secondary light on the fixed arm can be switched on/off and adjusted in synchro-mode with the operatory light using button (7) on the fixed arm.
    • If switched on after the operatory light, it synchronizes automatically.
    • If switched on with the operatory light off, it settles at maximum intensity.
    • Theia light cannot be adjusted independently in synchro mode.
  • Remote Control: The dental light can be controlled from the dental unit's control panel (refer to the dental unit's instructions).
  • Syncro Mode with FARO Room Light:
    • The device can be paired with FARO Room Lights via Radio Frequency (RF) to create a synchronized lighting system.
    • Pairing Procedure: Switch on Room Light (starts searching for 60s). Within 60s, press "Pairing" button on dental lamp for 4-6s. Room Light's blue LED activates. Confirm pairing by pressing the programming button on the Room Light's remote control within 60s.
    • De-activation: Press Synchro button for 2-4s, then release (sound signal, blue LED on Room Light goes out).
    • When synchronized, the Room Light's blue LED is steady on. The remote control remains enabled for manual illumination changes. If the Dental Light is off, the Room Light remains switched on.
