3. DESCRIPTION
A. External description (See I.P.L. figure 1)
(1) Face panel
- LH fuel flow or remaining time display (430).
- RH fuel flow or remaining quantity display (430).
- Operating mode selector (480).
- "PRESET" switch (470).
- Test pushbutton (70) also used to adjust the lighting.
- Spare indicator light (500) (flight time limit).
- Tag (80) indicating which unit is used.
(2) Rear panel
- Receptacle (300) for external connections.
- Two switches (10) (See I.P.L figure 5) installed on PC board Z3 (400) and used to select :
- the helicopter type,
- the unit of measure.
(3) Top
- A plate (see figure 1) indicating the switch positions according to the type of helicopter
and unit of measure selected.
(4) Side
- Identification plate (10).
- Amendment plate (20).
- Label indicating battery validity (25).
B. Internal description
- Three horizontally positioned PC board assemblies :
- power supply PC board Z1 (190),
- measurement and display PC board Z3 (400).
- control logic PC board Z2 (240),
