(5) Monitoring circuit (See sheet 4)
Monitoring circuit IC11 consists of 0 flip-flops and stores in its memory the data delivered
by the microprocessor bus as long as they are not modified by the microprocessor. These
data are used to :
- reset the microprocessor and RAM (see para. (3)),
- light up spare indicator light DS1 : when a 5 V signal is delivered, it controls transistor
T01 which is saturated and lights up the reserve light,
- rezd the data delivered by the RH transmitter (see para. (8)),
- rezd the data delivered by the LH transmitter (see para. (8)),
(6) Temperature control (See sheet 4)
This control function is performed by two external thermistors and analog/digital converter
CNV1. The converter turns the voltage variations caused by the temperature variations at the
thermistors into digital data, which can be understood by the microprocessor, which reads
them using the data bus, when this converter is selected.
(7) External information (See sheet 4)
- Two switches located in the rear part of the unit inform the microprocessor of the
helicopter type and unit of measure selected using selector IC12.
- Two switches and a pushbutton located on the face panel inform the microprocessor of
the operating mode selected using an input command selector.
- Input command selector circuit IC13 also transmits internal information to the
microprocessor, such as the indications delivered by the LH transmitter (after the signals
have been reshaped) and the validity of the backup battery monitoring circuit. This
validity is provided by NAND gate IC8 (4).
