  If your Febo Flame Indoor Fireplace turns off and refuses to restart, the overheat protection device may have been triggered or the house circuit breaker may have been tripped. First, turn all controls off, unplug the appliance, and allow it to cool down for at least 10 minutes before plugging it back in and restarting. If that doesn't work, check and reset your house circuit breaker.

  If the remote control for your Febo Flame Indoor Fireplace isn't working, it could be due to low batteries or excessive distance. Try replacing all the batteries in the remote control. Also, make sure you are operating the remote within 20 feet of the appliance and pointing it directly at the control panel.

  If your Febo Flame Indoor Fireplace doesn't turn on when you press the power button, the overheat protection device may have been activated. To resolve this, turn all controls off, unplug the appliance, let it cool down for at least 10 minutes, and then plug it back in and try restarting it.

How to fix a dim simulated flame effect on my Febo Flame Indoor Fireplace?

  If the simulated flame effect on your Febo Flame Indoor Fireplace is dim, try pushing the flame button to increase the light. Also, check that the “Flame wand” has not come loose from bracket. To check this, remove screws holding back panel in place and remove back panel. Secure end of “Flame wand” back into the support bracket.
