The manual emphasizes several critical safety precautions. Users are warned that any use other than recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, burns, electric shock, or other serious injuries. When in use, the appliance becomes hot, and bare skin should not touch hot surfaces. Combustible materials like furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains must be kept at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from the front, sides, and rear of the appliance. The main control panel is located at the top right corner on the front (see Figure 2).
Pressing any key except POWER on the Control Panel and Remote Control makes the Display Screen flip down after 3 seconds, displaying current functions. Without further operations, the Display Screen automatically flips back up after 17 seconds. The display shows flame level waves, temperature/timer hour, and icons for Heater, Timer, Child Lock, and Flame.
The remote control comes preassembled with a working battery and an insulation plastic film. Remove the film before use. Buttons on the remote control have the same functions as described for the Control Panel, except for the CHILD LOCK button.
