7. Carefully slide the pump against the mo-
tor making sure the pump shaft key slides
smoothly into the exible coupling. Push the
pump by hand until the motor adapter and
motor are in contact.
NOTES: Make sure pump key shaft does not
jam or fall out during installation.
8. Refer to Final Pump Alignment from the MSS
Installation/ Operation Manual.
6. Apply system compliant anti-seize com-
pound into the pump shaft keyway and
install the pump shaft key.
NOTES: Key should t securely with rounded
end facing toward the pump.
5. Secure the inlet housing to the motor adapt-
er with the inlet housing bolts and lock
washers. Tighten to torque value specied
in the Fastener Torque Specications sec-
tion of this manual.
