2. Remove 3
rd
stage gear by sliding it off long cutter shaft.
3. Remove the rest of the gears as necessary.
Note: If synchron gears are removed cutters may need to be retimed!!
Motor
The motor shaft turns the gear drive.
If the motor is defective, it must be replaced. Note: If the motor shaft is broken / defective
the motor will have to be replaced.
If the motor fan is broken, the fan can be replaced w/o replacing the entire motor.
To remove and/or replace the motor:
1. Remove cutting block w/ motor assembly. (See cutting block section on pg.12)
2. Unplug motor wires from PCB. (See wiring diagram)
3. Remove gearbox cover and gears (See gear drive section on pg.13).
4. Remove 4 screws securing motor to bearing plate.
