1.3.25.1 Ultra-low sulfur diesel
Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) poses a greater
static ignition hazard than earlier diesel
formulations . Static dissipation additives to reduce
this hazard can lose eectiveness over time and
other changing conditions. To avoid death or
serious injury from fire or explosion, follow proper
grounding and bonding practices for all refueling
system components (supply tank, transfer pump,
hose, nozzle, and others), as specified by the fuel
or fuel system supplier.
