Functional description
The pictures for the functional description are on a
fold-out page at the beginning of the instruction
manual. When reading of the manual you can fold
out this page for having always an overview of the
machine.
Accessories shown or described are sometimes not
included in the scope of delivery.
Intended use
The dust extractor is designed for use as specified
for the aspiration and evacuation of non-noxious
dusts, dirt, sand, shavings etc..
The dust extractor is designed as specified for vac-
uuming water.
The dust extractor is designed for household, com-
mercial or both use.
The dust extractor is designed for outdoor use and
indoor storage.
The filtering performance of the overall unit, which
is fitted with a HEPA filter element, corresponds to
HEPA quality 13 (medium degree of filtration
99.95%).
All CT extractors fitted with the HEPA filter element
have HEPA certification both for the filter material
and the whole dust extractor.
Operation
Consider the pictures on the fold-out page.
Initial operation
Open the locking clips

section of the machine

Remove the accessories from the dust contain-
er

and the packaging!
Insert a filter bag in the dust container (see
chapter "Changing the filter bag").
Attach the cable holder to the rear of the mobile
dust extractor (see Fig.
[3]
).

Risk of accident
The mains voltage and the frequency of the pow-
er source must correspond with the specifica-
tions on the machine's name plate.
In North America, only Festool machines with
the voltage specifications 120 V/60 Hz may be
used.
