Why is the brew water cold and the ready light off on my Fetco CBS-61H Coffee Maker?
    • J
      James Martinez IIINov 25, 2025
If the brew water is cold and the ready light is off on your Fetco Coffee Maker, first ensure the water tank refills when water is dispensed, as the brewer won't heat unless the tank is full. Then, check that the power switch is on, reset the machine circuit breaker, and verify the power connection (plug or hard wire). Also, check the building circuit breaker by switching it off and then on. If these steps don't resolve the issue, a defective liquid level control board (no power to thermostat), bad connections on the mercury relay (no power to heaters), a defective mercury relay (no power to heaters), or bad heating elements could be the cause. Check the LLC board for 120 volts on the brown wire and neutral, replace the relay for burned or loose connections, check input and output voltages...

Why does my Fetco Coffee Maker have short brew levels on some brews?
    • N
      Nicole BergAug 25, 2025
Erratic short brew levels in your Fetco Coffee Maker may be due to a clogged water filter (especially if the problem worsens during simultaneous brews), in which case you should replace it. A weak dispense latch assembly, which usually buzzes during the cycle, can also cause this, so consider replacing the dispense latch assembly. Additionally, low or fluctuating water pressure or flow rate might be the issue, particularly during simultaneous brews; ensure the brewer has a dedicated water line, the shut-off valve is fully open, and consider increasing the water line diameter or finding a more stable water source.

How to fix weak coffee from my Fetco CBS-61H Coffee Maker?
    • E
      Elizabeth GrahamAug 27, 2025
If your Fetco Coffee Maker is producing weak coffee, several factors could be responsible. Ensure the spray head assembly is attached correctly. Verify that you are using the correct coffee dose. Make sure you're using only one filter paper. If none of these are the cause, inspect the dispense tube for cracks. Finally, check the brew temperature, adjusting the thermostat so the water stream at the bottom of the brew basket, about 1/3 of the way through the brew cycle, reaches 190 degrees + or - 5 degrees.

Why does my Fetco CBS-61H Coffee Maker consistently brew short levels?
    • M
      Mary WestAug 29, 2025
If your Fetco Coffee Maker consistently brews short levels, check if the flow discs in the spray heads are upside down and reassemble them correctly. Ensure the water filter isn't clogged. Clean or replace the spray head if it's clogged. Verify that the timers are set to the proper level. Finally, check if the incoming voltage is too low, which can affect timer function; reset the wall circuit breaker and call an electrician to find loose connections if necessary.

How to fix coffee that tastes too strong from my Fetco CBS-61H?
    • M

What to do if my Fetco CBS-61H won’t stop brewing?
    • T
      thomas41Nov 22, 2025
If your Fetco Coffee Maker won't stop brewing, it could be due to several reasons. The dispense tube might be cracked. There could be mechanical binding, so try re-aligning the brew handle, brass sprayhead tower, and dispense tube into a straight line by moving the brass tower. If the water pressure is over 75psi, place a water pressure regulator on the line and reduce it to 20-75 psi. Also, check the dispense tube drive screw. Ensure that the drive screw is straight and reconnect it to the dispense tube, holding the flange flat against the brass sprayhead tower. A bad or encrusted water level probe can also cause this, so clean any lime buildup on the probe tip and/or tank wall. If none of this helps, the liquid level control board or the fill valve may be faulty and needs replacement or ...

Why is my Fetco CBS-61H faucet dripping?
    • W
      William MartinSep 18, 2025
If your faucet is dripping, there might be a blockage in the faucet (hair from cleaning brush, coffee oils, etc.). Remove the faucet bonnet (top part with handle attached) and clean the seat cup and faucet body regularly. The faucet seat cup might also be the problem, so remove the faucet bonnet and replace the seat cup.

Why won't coffee dispense from my Fetco server?
    • R
      Russell CaseSep 23, 2025
If coffee won’t dispense from your Fetco server, the vents on top of the gauge tube and/or twist-lock cover might be closed. Open the vents.

Why is my Fetco LUXUS leaking from the base?
    • K
      Kim JohnsonSep 9, 2025
If your LUXUS is leaking from the base, it could be due to overflow of coffee or water from cleaning collecting in the black plastic base. Remove the plastic base, wipe the interior and plastic base dry, and reassemble. If it is not the case, a bad O-ring gasket behind the faucet shank could be the reason. Remove the faucet, then unbolt the faucet shank from the LUXUS and replace the O-ring.

Why does my Fetco CBS-61H Coffee Maker take so long to recover temperature?
    • M
      Melissa AriasSep 7, 2025
If your Fetco Coffee Maker is slow to recover temperature, and the ready light takes a long time to come back on after brewing, it could be due to a failed heater (check amperage draw on heater wires, 0 amps = bad heater) or a limed-up hot water tank (inspect for lime and de-lime if buildup is thick).
